How to Order Custom Pet Portraits or Unique Wildlife Art Commissions
Here’s a breakdown of my commission process, designed to ensure you get a truly unique and personal piece of art that captures the essence of your beloved pet or favourite animal. Commissions vary depending on size and number of animals and start at £100.
Step 1: Initial Connection
-
We start with a friendly chat, where you can tell me all about your pet or the animal you’d like me to paint.
-
I love hearing why they’re special to you—it helps me bring that personal touch to the piece.
Step 2: Gathering Photos and Ideas
-
You’ll share your favorite photos of the animal with me.
-
We’ll discuss your ideas, including:
-
Poses or angles you love.
-
Colors and tones you'd like in the artwork.
-
Any personal touches or themes to incorporate.
-
Step 3: Concept Sketch and Quote
-
I create a quick concept sketch to bring your vision to life.
-
The sketch includes a rough idea of the colors, composition, and size.
-
-
Along with the sketch, I’ll provide the price for the piece.
-
Once you're happy with the concept and agree to proceed, I get started!
Step 4: Creation Process
-
Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated with regular progress photos.
-
You’ll have the chance to offer feedback and request adjustments to make sure the artwork reflects your vision.
Step 5: Final Touches and Approval
-
Once the piece is complete, I’ll share the final look with you for approval.
-
I can make small changes if needed to ensure you’re delighted with the result.
Step 6: Wrapping and Delivery
-
Your artwork is wrapped in my unique, eco-friendly style, featuring:
-
Recycled paper.
-
Dried flowers.
-
A handwritten thank-you card with a packet of wildflower seeds you can plant.
-
The piece is carefully packaged and delivered to your doorstep, ready to be cherished or gifted.
Step 7: Share Your Experience
-
I love seeing where my art finds its forever home!
-
Feel free to share a photo of your new artwork on social media and tag me @victoria_louise_art.
