Creativity has always been a journey for me—one filled with ups, downs, and unexpected turns. Looking back, I can break it down

into four key stages:
1. Born a Creative
As a kid, my imagination knew no limits. I’d dream up entire worlds, fueled by stories, doodles, and an imaginary friend (two for toffins) who felt as real as anyone else. Creativity wasn’t something I tried to do—it was just who I was.
2. Unknowing Guidance from the Universe
Even when I wasn’t actively seeking it, the universe had a way of steering me toward creativity. Little things—new friends who were on a creative journey or fleeting moments of inspiration—quietly shaped my path. I didn’t realise it at the time, but looking back, those moments were guiding me all along.
3. Losing My Way from Art
Somewhere along the way, I drifted. Life's challenges and losses, and slowly, art became something I used to do rather than something I actively pursued. The passion that once felt so natural started to feel distant, like a part of me I had left behind.
4. Realising What Was Missing
For a long time, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing from my life. I tried to fill the void in different ways, but nothing quite clicked. It wasn’t until I decided to try an art class again and hitting 40 that it all made sense. Art had always been the missing piece. Reconnecting with it felt like coming home.
At the end of the day, creativity isn’t a straight path—it’s a cycle of inspiration, struggle, and rediscovery. And honestly, that’s what makes it so exciting.
